My friend published a book!

I'm so excited and proud to announce that my good friend Cristina Spencer published her first book!

It's called Writing Your Wedding Ceremony: A Simple Guide For Real Couples. It's available on Amazon, where it already has five star reviews, which it totally deserves.

Yesterday she was interviewed by Sheila Hamilton of KinkFM, a Portland radio show. You can hear the interview here. Even if you're not planning on writing a wedding ceremony anytime soon, I urge you to listen to the interview, as the conversation between Sheila and Cristina ranges far beyond weddings into the rich territory of cultivating a spiritual life outside of traditional religion.

Cristina has always been an advocate and pioneer for people who consider themselves spiritual but not religious, and while her book is an affirming, inclusive solution to writing a personal wedding ceremony for all kinds of couples, it's just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the great ideas Cristina has about building a more meaningful, purposeful life for ourselves outside of the context of traditional religion. I see more books and interviews in Cristina's future, building on this amazing first step! Congratulations, my friend!
