A message from your inner artist

“I’m not going to leave you alone until you make me.”

That’s what my novel is saying to me. (Perhaps it’s what that painting is saying to you. Or that song. Or that new product idea. Whatever it is that your inner artist wants to make.)  So says Elizabeth Gilbert, in her podcast “Magic Lessons.”

In one of her recent episodes she talks to a young writer and implores her to go and “write that book that is inside you begging to come out, that the universe wants you to write.”

They payoff, she says, “is the expansion and ignition of your own soul.”
